From Summit to Sea Counseling and Wellness was born out of a desire to provide holistic, compassionate and supportive trauma-focused care to individuals in all walks of life, in all areas of their state, from the urban areas to rural villages and homes.
Specialization areas include trauma, relationship and attachment, neurodivergence, emotional and mood dysregulation, and life stage adjustment including stress and crises of faith.

Fees for Services
Services are provided via telehealth. The following insurances are accepted for Alaska: Tricare, Triwest, Aetna, Moda, Meritain, and BCBS. Insurance credentialing is underway for Virginia, including VA/TriWest/Optum, Carelon, TriCare East/Humana, Sentara, Optima, and UnitedHealthcare/Optum. Time of service/Self-Pay rates are based on local averages, please contact to inquire. A verification of benefits may be provided upon request, and potential clients reserve the right to request a good faith estimate regarding estimated costs.
It is recommended for all potential clients to verify with their insurance provider whether services, especially those via telehealth, are covered and what their individual costs (i.e. deductibles, copay, coinsurance) may be. A time of service discount may be offered for those paying out of pocket at time of service and super bills may be provided upon request.
Charges for co-pays and/or deductibles are billed to a card kept on file. Rates may change at any time. Additional fees and costs may apply.

Services in North Carolina and South Carolina are limited to self-pay at this time.

Free Consultation (20-40 minutes long)- A one time session to gather a "snapshot" of individualized needs and goals for services.

Brief Therapy (16-37 Minutes)- Provided as needed in-between regular weekly sessions to address acute and immediate concerns or stressors.​

Standard Therapy (38-52 Minutes)- Consistent weekly sessions which focus on coping skills to address acute needs, goals, and progress toward wellness.

Trauma/Intense Psychotherapy (53-60 Minutes): Consistent weekly meetings which include deeper, internal emotional or trauma processing along with coping and behavioral modification skills applications.

Intake/Assessment (60-75 Minutes)- A one-time evaluation, assessment, and treatment planning session to gather all available biopsychosocial information to establish services.
